Summer of 2006

The Merediths are doing well. We are trying to stay cool in the 100 degree weather. Even Zack has commented while outside, "HOT!" He is quite the conversationalist these days. Most of the time he conveys his thoughts in one, two or three word sentences, but sometimes he just yells at the top of his lungs. This is especially enjoyable at Kroger or a restaurant. He loves to play, play, play. His favorite words are hand, sit, and play. which means come sit and play with me. Next to running around the house and yard, his favorite pasttime is playing with Fisher Price's Little People. They play on a farm and a castle we recently got, but they can also play on tables, pillows and in shoes. In August, he will be starting "school" at the learning center at our church. He'll go for a few hours on Monday and Tuesday each week. This should allow Mike some much needed time to work on his freelance jobs. Zack loves his weekly visits to his grandparents' homes. This summer he has really enjoyed playing in the Smyrna City waterpark with his NaNa and Poppa (Mosleys). He also likes his golf lessons from Grandpa Meredith. For his summer trip Zack visited his Great-Grandpa Mosley in Arkansas. His cousin Harley spent the night recently and they had a good time throwing glow necklaces into the night air at the Full Moon Picking Party. Also his cousin Silas has been teaching him how to "swim" in the kiddie pool.
